PRESERVATION OF AMAZON FAUNA AND FLORA
The Amazon Rainforest is one of the richest biomes when it comes to biodiversity. Nevertheless, deforestation, coupled with the irrational use of natural resources has led to the extinction of species and impacting other key aspects for the maintenance of life and the availability of will fresh water, food and climate balance.
To combat this problem, we at AmazoniaLife developed environmental projects and actions aimed at the preservation of fauna and flora as well as the conscious use of natural resources in the Amazon.
AID AND PROTECTION FOR THE INDIGENOUS COMMUNITY
The indigenous community is one of the greatest protectors of the environment and is also responsible for preventing the rapid advance of deforestation and all the consequences of this practice. But in recent years the number of invasions into indigenous lands has increased, subjecting these people to various types of violence and endangering their integrity.
Thinking about it, AmazoniaLife, together with its partners, has been carrying out integrated actions to protect and provide the necessary support to indigenous communities, respecting their culture and their values.
RIVER AND AFFLUENTS PRESERVATION
Amazonian rivers deserve as much attention as forests, since urban growth, coupled with unmanaged fishing and agricultural advancement, have had serious consequences for the rivers and tributaries of this biome.
This is why AmazoniaLife develops projects and other effective actions that can preserve the integrity of the basin with the same vigor as actions taken in favor of forests in the Amazon. Only in this way is it possible to improve the quality of life of people and the environment as a whole.
INCREASING AMAZON CULTURAL TOURISM
The immense natural and cultural diversity of the Amazon makes this region one of the destinations with great tourism potential in Brazil. And even if some programs and initiatives have been adopted to encourage the development of tourism in the Amazon, this involves many challenges and still needs a lot of investment.
AmazoniaLife understands the importance of promoting cultural tourism in the Amazon and it has been developing initiatives aimed at strengthening tourism in the region.
